-
How long does the process take? After purchasing the medication, a doctor will contact you within around 24 business hours. Once your prescription is written, it may take up to 2-5 business days for your order to leave the pharmacy (with free shipping). Our Oral Semaglutide ships from Partell Pharmacy and takes up to 10 business days to ship. Since we work with multiple pharmacies, it is hard to give an exact timeframe for shipping times. If you have any concerns about your prescription fulfillment times, please reach out to us. You can also track your shipment through our secure patient portal and opt in to receive text or email updates about your delivery.
-
What happens after I complete the questionnaire? After getting started, you'll schedule a one-on-one consultation with one of our certified physicians to discuss your health goals, medical history, and any concerns you might have. This confidential meeting will help determine the best approach for your weight loss journey. If appropriate, the provider will prescribe medication. From there, you will have regular check-ins with your provider. During these check-ins, your provider will monitor your weight loss progress, evaluate the effectiveness of the medication, arrange prescription refills, and make any necessary adjustments to your care plan.
-
How do I get a refill on my prescription? We will send out an email letting you know you are due for a follow up about 14 days before you're due for another shipment. At that time, you will also see the follow up questionnaire available in your patient portal. In the follow up, you can request an increase in dosage and pass along any relevant information to your doctor.
-
Are there any subscriptions?You4You stands out from other weight loss companies by not requiring subscriptions and ensuring there are no hidden fees. Plus, we offer free expedited shipping, and all support and unlimited communication with a licensed provider are included in the medication cost.

What are GLP-1 Medications?GLP-1 medications, also known as GLP-1 agonists, are drugs that mimic the action of the glucagon-like peptide-1 hormone, which is naturally released in the gastrointestinal tract during eating. These medications help regulate blood sugar levels by triggering insulin release from the pancreas, moving glucose (sugar) from the bloodstream into cells for energy and nourishment. GLP-1s also promote a prolonged feeling of fullness, help control food cravings, and enhance the body's ability to process sugars more efficiently. As a result, they are often prescribed for managing type 2 diabetes or obesity.
-
What are the differences between the brand names (Ozempic®, Wegovy®, and Zepbound®) and the compounded versions of Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?Semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®, has been shown to reduce body mass by 15-20%. Ozempic® is FDA-approved for managing blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes, in combination with diet and exercise. It also helps lower the risk of serious cardiovascular issues in adults with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Additionally, doctors sometimes prescribe Ozempic® off-label for weight loss and long-term weight management. Wegovy®, on the other hand, is FDA-approved specifically for weight loss and long-term weight management, when used alongside diet and exercise. Compounded Tirzepatide contains the same active ingredient as the brand-name weight loss drugs Mounjaro® and Zepbound®. Mounjaro® is FDA-approved for managing type 2 diabetes in adults by lowering blood sugar and A1C levels. Zepbound® is the weight loss version of Mounjaro®, sharing the same active ingredient, Tirzepatide. While Mounjaro® is approved for type 2 diabetes, Zepbound® is specifically FDA-approved for aiding in weight loss. Although the compounded versions are not FDA approved, the compounding pharmacies used by You4You source Semaglutide and Tirzepatide with the same chemical composition as the brand name medications.
-
What is Oral Semaglutide?Oral Semaglutide is taken sublingually, absorbing under your tongue. This sublingual route offers a convenient, injection-free approach to weight loss and blood sugar regulation, ideal for those seeking an alternative to injections. GLP-1 promotes glycemic control by enhancing insulin secretion, slowing gastric emptying, and reducing glucagon secretion, naturally regulating appetite and blood sugar levels. It contains the same active ingredients found in Wegovy®, Ozempic®, and Rybelsus®.
-
How much weight can I expect to lose with a GLP-1 medication?Everyone’s body is unique, and weight loss outcomes can vary based on factors such as your initial weight, medical conditions, lifestyle changes, and the specific weight loss medication used. On average, users of GLP-1 medications achieve a weight reduction of approximately 15%.
-
What should I tell my care team before I take this medication? Our pre-screening questionnaire will ask you about any necessary or relevant health conditions, as well ask as you to provide a list of your current medications. You are also given an option to disclose any other information that you may consider to be important before meeting with your doctor.
-
What may interact with this medication? Our extensive pre-screening questionnaire will ask you to provide all current medications. This will allow your provider to be sure you are an eligible candidate for your chosen treatment. You will also be given an opportunity to directly ask them about any interaction concerns or other medical questions.
-
Are there any side effects? The most common side effects include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. These side effects are more likely to happen when you first start the medication or if you’re taking an increased dose. Other side effects can include dizziness, increased heart rate, infections, headaches, and an upset stomach. Please note that these side effects do not happen to every patient, and there could be other side effects that might occur. To get a full list of side effects you may experience for the specific medication and dosage you are taking, feel free to reach out to your physician in the patient portal.
-
How old do I have to be?Patients must be at least 18 years old to use GLP-1 medications.
-
How long will I need to stay on the medication?Weight loss is complex and often influenced by genetics and other factors. Because of this, the duration of how long someone will be on the medication varies greatly from person to person. For many people, ongoing treatment with weight loss medication may be necessary even after reaching their weight loss goals to help keep off the weight and prevent chronic conditions such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Long-term medication is generally recommended as a standard part of care. As you approach your target weight, your certified physician can help you develop a personalized maintenance plan to help keep the weight off. They will also help you safely taper off the treatment if you decide to stop using the medication.
-
What if I am not approved for a medication?Your health and safety are our top priorities. If you have pre-existing conditions, particular aspects of your medical history, current health data, or potential medication interactions, our weight loss medication may not be the best option for you. While this medication can be an effective tool for weight loss, it’s not the only path to achieving your goals. Everyone’s situation is unique, so we encourage you to explore other options that may be better suited to your individual needs.
-
What if my medication does not arrive cold?If there are any problems with the packaging/medication upon arrival, please let us know so that we can request for a replacement to be sent.
-
How do I see a medical provider? After completing our online questionnaire, one of our certified physicians will contact you through our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform within 24 hours. You'll have 24/7 access to chat with them and receive ongoing support throughout the entire process. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to them in the portal at any time.
-
Why do I need to pay before speaking to a provider?Consultations with a healthcare provider are an essential part of our process. This allows one of our certified providers to thoroughly assess your eligibility for medication and discuss all available treatment options during your initial consultation. Please be aware that your credit card is not charged right away when you sign up; instead, a hold is placed until your eligibility is confirmed. If you're found ineligible for the medication, your card will not be charged.
